Yup, I'm still alive!

I'm seriously stuck on my CatDog fanfic. I also need to change a few things about chapters 9 and 10. About my latest chapter: the reason I'm stuck is because I need to figure out what places CatDog would want to take Tunya and Biscuit to see.

I'm also stuck on my SpongeBob fic because... well, it starts out with Squidward walking Seacelia home. I'm trying to work on their last conversation for the evening.

Writer's block sucks so badly!

In the meantime, I'm working on a Crash Bandicoot fanfic... yes, it's another romance story. Shoot me. There is a Mary Sue involved. Shoot me again. I've gotten quite a few chapters done, but it's not published yet. I want to finish the current chapter I'm on and then write the next one before I put it on Fanfiction.Net. The next chapter I'll work on is going to be either far easier or far more difficult than the one I'm writing now, and I've re-written the one I'm writing now several times!!

It's tough when you write. Even for fun. You've got to make it just right, or it'll rub you the wrong way for a long time, and the story could very well go downhill if you get so much as one detail wrong. It's especially difficult when you're trying to keep the characters in-character. I think people write characters OOC without realizing it is because they want to rush through everything without considering character development. They just want it done in an instant. That's a mistake I often make, and I manage to catch myself before I publish. At least most of the time, anyway.
